Creating kit templates
To create your kit templates, go to Configuration > Kit Type.
Kit types can be interpreted broadly: they can represent classic kits (e.g. BRULKIT) or specific storage areas in ambulances (e.g. top drawer). If you also have supplies in VSLs or taxis, which are not in Kits, you can create a kit called “VSL Miscellaneous” to gather all the consumables present in a VSL, for example.
Creating a kit type
To create a kit type, click on New.
The form consists of the following elements:
- Name: Name of the kit type.
- Seal number: Indicates that you manage a seal number for this kit type. This means that with each modification of this kit, the application will ask you for a seal number.
- Free content: Leave this option unchecked, unless you manage clothing (see Clothing Management).
Managing kit content
Once the kit template is created, you can manage its content.
Reminder: Here, you configure the templates; no expiry date will be requested at this stage. The expiry date will be requested when creating or rearming a kit.
-
To add a supply, click on Add.
-
A popup opens to add a supply to the kit.
- Supply: Choice of supply to add.
- Quantity: Number of units of this supply in the kit.
Repeat this operation for each supply included in the kit. To adjust the quantity more quickly, you can click directly on the number in the Quantity column.
Once your template is complete, don’t forget to save.
After configuring your kit types, you can move on to creating and managing your kits.
