Performing a disinfection
There are three ways to perform a disinfection:
1. From the “New disinfection” tab
- Managers can perform all disinfections at any time.
- Paramedics and other staff will only be able to access disinfections whose date has been reached or which can be performed in advance and only if it is assigned to them.
- First click on the disinfection procedure, then on the vehicle.
2. From the “To do” tab (not visible for managers)
- This page shows, by vehicle, all controls and disinfections to be performed (see Performing controls and disinfection by paramedics).
3. From the QR Code
- By scanning a vehicle’s QR Code (see Vehicle > QrCode), you will see the list of actions you are authorized to perform on this vehicle. If a disinfection procedure needs to be done, click on the corresponding button.
Performing the disinfection
Once in the disinfection procedure, proceed with the following steps:
- Validate checkpoints: Check each checkpoint required for the disinfection.
- Validate disinfection products: If you have configured disinfection products, you will also need to, according to your configuration (by clicking on the button at the bottom of the page), validate the products used.
To fill in a product, you must indicate a batch number and an expiration date.
- Depending on the disinfection product batch configuration, batch usage information may be pre-filled.
- Otherwise, you can scan the QR Codes of the batches used to automatically fill in the batch-related information.
Once all information is filled in, you can validate the disinfection. If you need to interrupt the procedure, you can save your progress. When a user resumes the disinfection on this vehicle, they can choose to resume the ongoing procedure or start a new one.
