Checkpoint configuration

You can configure checkpoints that users will need to validate when performing a control. Checkpoints are grouped within categories (like for follow-up sheet configuration, see Follow-up Sheet Configuration).

Adding a category

To create a checkpoint category, click on Add a category and fill in the following information:

  • Name: Name of the category.
  • Quick selection: Displays a checkbox at the category name level to validate all checkpoints in this category with one click.

To add a checkpoint in the created category, click on the + next to the category name.

Adding a checkpoint

Checkpoints can include the following elements:

  • Name: Name of the checkpoint.
  • Description: Informative text that appears under the checkpoint name.
  • Linked checkpoint: Allows you to link a checkpoint from another procedure, so that an incident declared on this checkpoint is also visible in linked checkpoints.
  • Category: Category of the checkpoint.

Checkpoint types

You can select from several types of checkpoints:

  • Yes/No: Checkbox to validate the control.
  • Condition: 4 colored indicators (green, yellow, orange, red) to indicate a state.
  • Slider: Slider to manage quantities (e.g. fuel volume, oxygen volume).

Configuration for slider type points

For slider checkpoints, configure the following options:

  • Minimum value: Minimum selectable value.
  • Maximum value: Maximum selectable value.
  • Step: Increment value between minimum and maximum.
  • Required value: Any value below this value will trigger an incident.
  • Label: Unit displayed next to the quantity (e.g. %, liters).

Example: Validation of fuel quantity in % with a minimum required of 80%.

  • Min: 0

  • Max: 100

  • Step: 10

  • Required value: 80

  • Label: %

  • Photo: Request to take a photo.

  • Date (without incident): Request to enter a date without triggering an incident.

  • Date with incident: Request to enter a date. If the number of days between the control date and the entered date is less than the defined threshold, an incident will be triggered.

  • Free field: Text field to fill in during control.

Additional parameters

  • Assignable to: Directly assigns incidents from this checkpoint to the defined manager profiles.
  • Tags: Incidents generated by this checkpoint will automatically have the defined tags (see Tags section for more information).
  • Priority: Incidents generated by this checkpoint will automatically have this priority.
